The EPAT programme has really been a good experience for me: I've learned a lot about how financial markets work, how to code strategies in Excel, Python and R, got introduced to advanced statistical concepts like ARIMA and GARCH and how to apply Machine Learning algorithms into trading systems.

EPAT is an exhaustive course on algorithmic trading, with good faculty and rigorous learning experience. The course is for beginners as well as experienced professionals. I already come from a trading background but the course helped take things to next level. Event-driven approach, Intro to Machine Learning, Complex event processing, Pairs Trading, Intro to IBPY module, Backtesting, and Live trading using Blueshift are some of the key features of the course. One of the key things I appreciate about the course is that few lectures are taken by Industry veterans/practitioners. Above all, the Placement committee is excellent.

I find the EPAT programme to be great. Before taking this programme I had no experience with Quant-trading. I studied mathematics at university and worked as a private banker in China.

EPAT is a well-structured programme if you want to learn algorithmic trading, it includes a vast amount of assets analysis and trading strategies, all of them studied in depth. There are many opportunities to practice on our own and there are many opportunities to learn from the lecturers and the other participants.
The lecturers include some of the most recognized people in their respective fields. The faculty and the support team were always available to help or to answer our questions. It was a very good experience.
